Odie is a very sweet and funny boy. He is very affectionate but can be nervous. He calms down considerably when he has someone to snuggle with :) He is 6 years old and very loyal and likes being part of a pack. When we take him to parks off-leash, he stays with us and is quick to come when called. He is really smart and even knows to go get his own leash out of the pile when we instruct him to "go find it". When we walk him in the morning, he pulls a little but overall does pretty well.

He is not aggressive, but can get possessive of toys, food, or even me sometimes with my other dogs. He will always back down though when they stand up to him. He tends to be afraid of people carrying large objects. However, we had company over for an all day event with young kids and all kinds of new people and dogs and he was not aggressive to anyone.

He has been with his foster family for two weeks and is showing signs of separation anxiety. He was left alone for several hours so they are crating him in a quiet area of the house when they leave. He needs to be in a home with a lot of attention, affection, and patience. He would do fine in a house with other dogs and is good with cats. He needs to be placed with someone who is home a lot or can go to work with you.
